What does ‘RIFD Blocking’ actually mean?

Here at True Vision we want to make sure that all our customers are safe. This means we have manufactured all our wallets with RIFD blocking material to prevent anyone from scanning or stealing your card details. But what does this actually mean?

The Problem

ID cards, contactless bank cards, key cards and passports all use the same technology to transfer and read information through microchips and radio waves - Radio Frequency IDentification (RIFD). Although this is useful in your day to day life, similar technology can also be used by hackers to gain access to your personal or banking details transmitted by these chips - this can happen wirelessly and from a distance!

Our Solution:

We have worked hard to design our wallets to be safe and simple by using manufactured RIFD blocking material to surround your cards and interfere with any radio waves that could cause harm. This is also completely hidden within the design, giving the appearance of a regular wallet.
