Top three of the most underrated travel destinations

Emerald Coast, Florida.

First on our list is Emerald Coast. It’s a 24 mile stretch of white sand beaches that covers places such as Fort Walton, Destin and Okaloosa. With its turquoise waters and white sand beaches it is definitely an underrated treasure, not very known unless you were to do research before your trip.

Apart from the beaches, there is quite a bit more to do along Emerald Coast with activities such as visiting Gulf Breeze Zoo, Destin Parasailing, Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure park, Air Force Armament Museum and Destin Harbour Boardwalk - you’ll never run out of ideas!    

El Mirador Ruins, Guatemala.

El Mirador, the largest pyramid known in the Maya world. Surrounded by mayan ruins and miles of jungle area you can either take a 90 minute helicopter ride above ground to reach the rarely visited ruins or you’ll have to hike 40.5 kilometers through well kept trails which will take you around 5 days. 

It is worth your time either way, with the stunning views all around you. It is completely picturesque and who knows, you might even see some jungle life along the way!   

Tohoku, Japan. 

Last on our list is Tohoku, known for its volcanoes and mountainous terrain filled with things to do and amazing sights to see, such as: Hirosaki Castle, Lake Towada, Zao Onsen Ski Resort and Risshakuji Temple. 

Each place to visit within Tohoku is amazing and whichever place you choose to go to you won’t be disappointed. Surrounded by scenic views it is the perfect place to go traveling to if you love Mountains, lakes, cherry trees and hot springs.
