So, what is hydrophobic coating and what is the importance of it?

Well, something that is hydrophobic resists water - so if you’re someone who likes going to the beach, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding or boating then our sunglasses are perfect for you! 

Most brands don’t include this in their sunglasses which is why the water stays and gets around the inside of the lenses of the glasses which causes them to wear away, making the glasses worse and eventually unable to be used.

When water hits the lenses of our sunglasses it’ll go, it won’t stay. Meaning, you won’t always have to reach for a cloth to clean your glasses or be annoyed by the constant water droplets that would usually remain until wiped away. 

Not only does it resist water but they're also anti-static, meaning that if things such as dirt end up on the lenses, then when water hits it will wash the dirt right off.
