At True Vision you know we love music, art and adventure! Which is why we are sharing our top 3 artists with you.
Named one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Picasso painted artwork such as the Guernica, La Vie and Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. He loved painting cubism art, which represented reality through art.
He is one of our favourite artists as he changed the world with his work, the way he did each piece changed the form of art for the rest of the century.
Vincent Van Gogh
Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh is next on our list, known for painting pieces The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Starry Night Over The Rhone. His style is very unique and his artwork didn’t become popular until he had died. In fact, during his lifetime he only sold one painting seven months before his death.
‘The Starry Night’ was inspired by the view from his window at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in the south of France, where he spent twelve months recovering from illness.
We love his work as his technique is very unique compared to other artists and we definitely recommend that you research and discover more about him.
Leonardo Da Vinci
Last on our list is Leonardo Da Vinci, one of history’s most famous left handed artists. Known for his paintings; The Last Supper and the Mona Lisa.
Perfecting the technique known as sfumato (meaning evaporated or vanished). He created transitions between light/shade and sometimes colours as well. Which, if you look closely at the Mosa Lisa you’ll be able to see.
